Paralyzed Hiker on the Appalachian Trail
Description:
This item is a picture of 41 year old hiker Stacey Kozel, the first quadriplegic to thru-hike the Appalachian Trail. At 19 she was diagnosed with Lupus and in her case, the disease attacked her spinal cord. Her disease taught her to live everyday to the fullest and she wants to have no regrets. So with an exoskeleton and her braces, she hiked the entire trail.
